After winning the bid for the Pune Franchise team – Sahara Pune Warriors, Chairman of Sahara Group has now bigger plans.
Announcing various measures of financial assistance for Pune district, Subrata Roy said the Sahara Group was committed to promoting young talent in the city and also have plans of setting up of an International Sports Academy at its Amby Valley project in the vicinity.

It is nice to read that Saharashree is planning something to promote sports in Pune but Pune has given to everybody in the field of sports name and fame to no of such sponsorers.
Earlier also, Nobody is doing to promote the sports except the promoting themselves and it is a matter of money.
Hon’ble Shri Suresh Kalmadiji also doing a lot to promote and branded Pune as a Sport city before Hon’ble Saharashreeji
Otherwise in India, there is no limits for sports personnel and talents.
Still, we apperciate the efforts made by Honourable Saharashreeji because we do respect him and being a silver+ card holder of the company and awarded by himself to me in 2002.
Pune is city of sports, study, youthness and Chatrapat Shivajimaharaj’s history.
So thanks to this soil also to giving back to such sponsorers at least ten times more than they invested.
